The front door wouldn’t close properly, and I’m pretty sure we got one of the good rooms. The whole experience is the kind you recount in a whisper, to horrified faces. The bathroom was a horror show. The shower curtain was mouldy, and the cracks looked occupied. There was barely room to get out of the shower without hitting the toilet, and I was worried about catching something from touching things. I don’t even want to know what those stains on the toilet were. There was hot water, but the choice was scalding or freezing. Not that the room seemed to have been cleaned since the hotel opened. The floor was dusty, sticky, and crunchy all at once. The sheets were ripped and a health hazard, and the towels were already stained. Flee.

Avoid this dangerous place. The last time I was there, some guests were noisy and badly behaved. The reception girls had to lock the entrance to feel safe, even during opening hours. Someone broke my car window in the hotel parking lot and stole my photography equipment and some windsurfing gear. There are no video cameras to check the parking area. I told the receptionist about the theft, and all she said was, “je suis désolé.” She didn’t offer to check any video surveillance system or call the police for me. I’ll never stay there again. Fabio

The road out front is loud, though things quiet down after 10 pm. The room and even the toilet and shower are very small. Breakfast has the usual basics but won’t suit people with special diets. Fine for a one-night stop, and it seems to be used by a lot of drivers.

There’s parking, and breakfast was fine. For a single night it’s bearable, but the sheets were dirty and too small, so I didn’t sleep in them. The cigarette smell was everywhere, even in the rooms.
