All Suites Hotel Bassin d’Arcachon – Dune du Pilat

The room was clean and quiet, with enough space for two and a large bathroom. Dinner was very good, and breakfast was generous. The staff were really helpful, and the service and food were great. There’s parking and an EV charger, and you can walk around the lake if you feel like it. A place I’d keep in mind when in the area.

Such a fantastic place to stay.

We were delighted to come across this beautiful new hotel, which opened in July 2025. Even though it sits in a large commercial area, the Pichet group has given it a seaside holiday feel. The decor mixes industrial touches like wood paneling and raw concrete with Balinese influences, and it seems suited to families, couples, or groups of friends. There’s direct access to the lake, plus a pétanque court, tennis courts, a gym, and plenty of other outdoor activities. The manager was dynamic, experienced, and very professional. I enjoyed speaking with him, and it seems he’s shaping the place around his own style. Our room was the cheapest option, and it was nicely decorated but quite small. Breakfast was tasty, varied, and comprehensive, though it’s a shame the bread is so industrially made. We’ll return, probably in spring, when I think the hotel really comes into its own.
