The house was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient, close to the supermarket, hospital, attractions, and beach. The woman at reception was nice and gave us good suggestions for visiting the city. We stayed for three nights and things went well, but the pool was a real disappointment. The website said it was heated, but the water was freezing and we couldn't enjoy it, even though we'd paid expecting to use it. Other families said they'd come at the same time last year and the pool had been heated then. At reception, we were told they heat it when necessary. I don't know when they consider it necessary, because this time of year it was freezing, too cold even to put a foot in. Since it was May, there weren't any activities, and even the massage session was closed. You do have to clean the house before leaving, or pay for a cleaning service.

The facilities and value for money were great. I also appreciated being allowed to trickle-charge my electric car overnight from the 16 amp blue CEE camping socket included in the price. That's perfect for Tesla's camping mode. I always ask before connecting and am happy to pay for the kWh I use. The person at reception wasn't sure, but the sockets in the Green Village seem to be fused at the full 16 amps. The pool rules would have kept this from being a 5-star stay for me. Regular swimming shorts aren't allowed, even quick-drying ones, even if you show that you arrived wearing something else. You need tight Lycra swimwear. There's conveniently a vending machine selling suitable swimwear, so you can pay €15 per person for shorts that are apparently not short enough. We chose this campsite specifically for the pool, and the shorts rule isn't mentioned on the website. You're also required to walk barefoot on hot concrete. Pool flip-flops aren't allowed, even if you show that you came in something else and washed them in the step-through basin. The pools look spotless, with no dirt, but the area around them feels like a mycosis paradise. The pool showers are tucked away in a hard-to-find corner, and every guest I saw failed to use them before getting into the pool with sweaty, dirty bodies. I understand the hygiene precautions, but the rules miss the important issues and seem like a way to make money.

The campsite itself is okay, but the music is far too loud every night and goes on until midnight. It's hip-hop. If you're after a relaxing holiday, this definitely isn't the place.

The location is the only good thing here, close to Arcachon, with plenty of restaurants and beaches nearby. For the number of people staying, there are very few facilities. The pools were always overcrowded and not much fun, especially for the price. We've been to plenty of similar holiday resorts, and this one was the worst. We only went in the pool once. Seeing a woman come out with visible blood running down her legs put us off, even though I know it wasn't the staff's fault. The prices are so high for such basic, average food and facilities. I wouldn't recommend staying here. You can find nicer places for much less.

A lovely gem, surrounded by nature and really quiet and clean. My mom lost her purse at the park, and someone handed it in at the office right away. What an awesome place!
