The biggest problem for us was the Wi-Fi. It was so slow it was unusable, when it worked at all, and buying it cost a fortune. An additional 50-gig 5G eSIM was cheaper than a week of Wi-Fi and about 600 times faster. Don’t pay for the Wi-Fi. We stayed for two weeks in a Yelloh two-bedroom mobile home with a hot tub. Check-in was smooth, with staff helping us while we were still in the car. Getting to mobile home #631 meant driving along a very busy road shared by cars and pedestrians. There is a pedestrian route, but most people seemed not to know about it or use it. Walking or driving there felt like a minefield, and I think an accident is only a matter of time. A safer arrangement is needed. The Yelloh-owned homes are modern and set among attractive planting. The Eurocamp and homair ones looked crowded and dated, so I personally wouldn’t recommend staying in those. The main pool was good, with plenty to do and decent space, and the shop staff were friendly. At the bar, it was unclear when we were meant to order at the counter and when there would be table service. Drinks were reasonably priced and fine. The playground and bouncy castles are right in front, so my wife and I could have a drink while the kids played. That playground is good, but the second one, down in the neglected Eurocamp/homair area, is really poor. The restaurant is just okay, and I wouldn’t eat there more than once. The takeaway was very mediocre too. The bar setup itself was good, but the service rules were confusing. The site is good overall, though some things need fixing.

Our group of 19 stayed across four chalets, sharing a pool and garden, and it made for a perfect big family holiday. The park had the amenities and kids’ clubs we needed for ages 4 to 14. It was also ideally placed for the beach and trips to nearby towns and villages. We’ll be back, highly recommend it!

The bar service was awful. Orders could take 20 minutes to place and another 20 to arrive, and even though ordering directly at the counter would have been quicker, the staff wouldn’t let us. Coffee came cold and service was inconsistent. We stayed with Yelloh, and the caravans were decent, nicely spaced, and had good outdoor areas. The pool was enjoyable despite being crowded, with enough to do. Our son liked the slides, though he would have preferred them bigger, faster, or more plentiful. The ground was very rough on skin, so water shoes might help. They sell them in the shop, which probably says enough. The shop itself was good. The restaurant wasn’t great: the food arrived lukewarm and wasn’t anything special. There are better places off site. The snack bar was actually better, even though it seemed to use the same kitchen, but the pizzas had far too much oregano. We had a few small issues with the caravan; staff came quickly to deal with some of them. Nothing major. It’s a good site and seems fairly rated at four stars.

There’s no place on site to dispose of toilet chemicals if you’re in a motorhome or have brought your own caravan.
