Everything else at the hotel was excellent, but the lift rules after 9 pm, and even earlier on one night, made our stay deeply upsetting. People with disabilities or trouble walking faced a cruel climb of six flights of stairs. The manageress, Carole, told us to carry another client, and when we said that client had fallen, she showed no concern. We had returned because the same management had been very accommodating last year and assured us there were no complaints, as we were in before 11.30 and kept very quiet. We're a quiet, mature group, and feel deeply hurt. We will never stay here again or recommend it. We've visited the town 17 times, and had never felt unwelcome before.

From a British point of view, it's a relaxing, quite typical French hotel with lots of lovely quirks. The rooms are comfortable, clean, well presented and fully air conditioned.
