The comfort room was roomy enough and really good, while the standard room didn't seem worth booking. There are useful things close by, and we had a good stay overall, so I'd recommend the hotel. Some neglected maintenance does spoil the setting, though, like missing tiles on the steps and loose slabs on the restaurant terrace.
6/10
The room was clean, but very basic, with no tea or coffee facilities, and the hotel itself badly needs decorating. Staff don't speak English, though that wasn't a problem for us. It's on a busy road with bars and restaurants nearby, and the beach is a good ten-minute walk away. On Sunday evening the road closes for a market.
10/10
We found plenty of parking at the hotel, and shops, bars and restaurants are close by. The beach is a pleasant short walk away. Tranche sur Mer is about five minutes by car or half an hour on foot. Our room was small but clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a TV. Friendly staff, and excellent value for money.
8/10
We had a very nice lunch, and the service was good.
4/10
We weren't really impressed by the food.
