Le Lodge Kerisper

I was so sad to leave this peaceful family break at La Trinite Sur Mer. The hotel was such a cozy place, with a beautiful view of the quaint village. I highly recommend staying here and hope to come back with the family.

I have stayed in all sorts of hotels around the world, but I've never been treated like this. Kerisper Lodge is the place to stay if you want your host to disrespect you and shout at you. I run a software development business and was at the lodge for leisure, but had an important video meeting with a client scheduled. I asked the person at reception where I could get the best connection, and they told me to use the hotel lobby. About 30 minutes into the call, the owner came over and interrupted me to ask if I wanted another space. I thought he was trying to accommodate me better, and said I was nearly finished and could stay. As soon as he left, the person at reception got a short call and came to stand beside me, looking over my shoulder while I was on the call. Then he tapped me on the shoulder and told me I had to leave the lobby right away. I hung up on my client in precipitation. I said immediately that what had happened was rude and prejudicial. A couple of other hotel guests having a drink nearby had witnessed it. They stood up for me and said they'd leave the hotel right away if something like that happened to them. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager didn't come back to face me and take responsibility. I only got to speak with him by phone, although he was in the next room, and he started shouting as soon as I got on the call. He said it was intolerable that I'd made a business call in his lobby, because his guests were there for leisure and didn't want to see someone working in the middle of August. I paid about 200€ a night to be interrupted during an important business call, disrespected in front of other guests, and shouted at by the business owner. Great start to my vacation.

The wifi is a bit slow for business, but everything else was lovely. Great staff and service, and a beautiful little hotel. Highly recommend it.

A lovely little hotel, with charming gardens and a pool. The decor is fab, the rooms are clean, and it's a very short walk to the lovely harbor.
