Just outside Trinité, there's a quiet, cozy bungalow in a garden full of palm trees. The host was friendly.

Evening meals are available when you arrive, and they're very good and inexpensive. The owners are welcoming and keep discreetly to themselves during your stay, although they're on site. The accommodation is beautiful and quiet. The only drawback is how hard it is to reach and find.

The place is clean, quiet, perfectly laid out, and the accommodation itself is just right. The owners, a warm and friendly young couple with two little girls, made us feel welcome. We recommend it as a base for discovering the north of Martinique.

WARNING, BEWARE. The owners canceled our reservation even though we'd booked more than 4 months ahead through a dedicated website. They blamed a bug in their schedule and said our dates were already taken, despite us booking more than 6 months in advance! They offered to change the dates but gave no other alternatives. Our plane and car rental were already booked and paid for.

We stayed in a lovely, peaceful setting, surrounded by birdsong in a large garden. Our host gave us a very warm welcome.
