Getting our bags to the third floor was a bit of a struggle since we had to use the stairs. Apart from that, the hotel was clean, easy enough to reach by car, and had a lovely restaurant with a local feel. I’d recommend trying the Holland restaurant.

The family room was handy: it had two separate rooms, so the kids could sleep while we packed. The place is cosy and clean, and the owners are really friendly. Breakfast was fine, just don’t expect a continental spread.

There’s a fantastic little bakery down the road, with excellent bread and pastries. The hotel itself is a beautiful small place just outside Strassbourgh France, comfortable and staffed by friendly people.

We turned up late in the middle of a storm with no reservation, and they still found us a room and made us a warm dinner. Thank you so much!

After a demanding day, a lovely little wine and a really nice meal hit the spot. The service was very friendly, and the food was outstanding.
