Horseback riding isn’t offered anymore, and you only find that out if you ask after booking. That didn’t feel very honest. The whole stay was strange: the host was charming when we arrived, then awful at the end. It makes no sense.
Joackim was so attentive and caring throughout. We had a wonderful family horseback ride, a fantastic experience!
The mill has been restored beautifully, and it’s over 300 years old. Being surrounded by nature means there are insects, though the mosquito net kept them from becoming a bother. There’s heating and the other amenities, but no television. The shower could perhaps be just a little better.
Even with gray skies and rain, the area was still pleasant. The mill itself is beautiful and romantic, and the host was very friendly and gave us useful tips on hikes. The tour of the wells and wash houses is well worth doing.
A magnificent mill, and the hosts were extremely kind.
