We were left standing in the blazing sun for more than 20 minutes. The studio was barely equipped, with even basic kitchenette items missing. And yet the owner gives himself a 5/5 and says everything is perfect. Since reviews aren't monitored, he can say what he likes without any risk. Appalling welcome.

The location is peaceful, and you can walk to the South beach or town center in less than 15 minutes. The house has a spacious living area, a master suite and two other bedrooms, plus several terraces and a lovely outdoor space with all the equipment you need. Highly recommended.

At 8:30 pm, we were scrambling to find somewhere else to stay because the owner never turned up. He had asked us when we would arrive, but we still couldn't reach him. It was June 25th, which counts as off-season in Lacanau, with practically everything closed.

We were hiking and ended up having to find a hotel after 11 pm, in the off-season. The only one that would take us without a reservation cost quite a bit more. This happened despite having booked, and the owner never showed up; our repeated attempts to contact him got no response. Another reviewer had the same problem around that time. I don't recommend it.

A cozy place for a couple, and the surroundings are quiet. We'd gladly stay again. Recommended, and thank you.
