To enjoy the beaches and forests of Aquitaine, I can’t imagine a better spot than "La Baignoire" and its "Restaurant Trattoria." The setting is idyllic, the 70s decor has charm, and the staff are both exceptionally professional and discreet. They make you feel like part of a family. There are all sorts of ways to relax, including golf lessons, and the food is refined, inventive, and delicious. I couldn’t find a single flaw. For a chance to disconnect, this is the place.

We stayed two nights while on a bike trip. The setting is beautiful, about two miles from town and the beach, and the pool was warm. You’re right on the golf course, with a fun, woodsy retro feel. We walked into town for dinner, then made the return in the dark, which maybe wasn’t the best idea.

A charming hotel with a very good restaurant and comfortable rooms, though they aren’t completely soundproof. The customer service was excellent and so friendly: they offered to reopen the spa, gave us water, kept cold items in the fridge, and even offered coffee when we left early.

The family room was huge and really comfortable, with fantastic bedding. Breakfast was very good too. I’d wondered from some reviews whether the service might feel cold, but everyone was friendly. The setting is stunning, and the pool among the pine trees is superb. We were delighted with our three-day stay and would definitely return.
