The place is fairly small, so a family might find it cramped, but it suited a couple or a single person perfectly. We had a wonderful stay at Le Petit Havre, with a warm welcome and thoughtful touches after a long journey. Everything was clean, nicely laid out, and tastefully decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, functional bathroom, and a little terrace for quiet mornings or evenings after the beach. The setting is peaceful and close to the beach and cycle paths, so you can enjoy Lacanau without needing the car for every trip. We appreciated the attention to detail and how available and responsive the host was whenever we needed anything. We'd gladly come back on another visit to the region, and recommend Le Petit Havre to anyone wanting a calm, pleasant stay while discovering Lacanau.

The upstairs neighbor was a little noisy in the morning, which was my only complaint. Otherwise, I had a pleasant stay at Le Petit Havre. It's nicely placed among the pines, and the room looks lovely from outside, as well as being cozy and clean.

The sheets were provided, and the room was very clean with a really pleasant shower. Le PETIT HAVRE is a small room rented by a private owner in a house among the pines, in a residential estate. It's fine for a weekend, though I wouldn't stay too long. You can walk to the beach if you're a good walker, or take the lovely bike path. The owner was friendly and welcoming. There's a little terrace for breakfast or a snack; the owner can prepare breakfast, but we prefer to make it ourselves. Pets are allowed, which is a real plus. A few things could be better: there were no oven mitts, so getting bowls out of the microwave was difficult, and no dish towel was provided. The light above the sink didn't work. I hope this is an objective account.

LE PETIT HAVRE is magnificent, right in the pine forest, but we waited two hours at the gate! The bike tire was flat, and after pushing it through the sand for 8 km with the windsurf board, the windsurfer was flat too... lol.

A lovely place for a few peaceful days in the forest, with walks nearby and both the sea and lake close at hand.
