Domaine de Chadeyron

We booked the wrong campsite and turned up here by mistake, but the owners were extremely accommodating and let us choose a pitch. The location is beautiful and secluded, with amenities close enough by car, or even better, by bike. We normally travel around in our motorhome, but felt so relaxed and welcome that we stayed for most of our holiday. The facilities were spotlessly clean, the pool was beautiful, and there was fresh bread every morning. Most guests were Dutch, with a few French and German visitors, and everyone was friendly. Loved it and would highly recommend, 5*.

For little kids, there’s plenty to keep them busy: a pool, small water park, toboggan slide and playground. It’s a peaceful place to unwind, and one of the best small family-owned and operated campsites in France.

The campsite is a good base for exploring the area, canoeing and seeing pont d'Arc, while staying away from superbusy Vallon. It’s quiet and family run, with lovely, helpful staff. They serve food if you reserve, and there’s a cozy outdoor terrace for drinks.

We only stayed a short time, but enjoyed it a lot. The service was great, and the owner had plenty of information and speaks Dutch. The girl who helped us most was friendly and enthusiastic. I’d recommend it!
