We spent two nights at La Chadenede over Easter and really enjoyed it. The hosts were welcoming, served a delicious homemade breakfast each morning and were happy to share tourist tips. The stone house has been beautifully renovated and sits in the foothills of the Ardèche. The Gorges d'Ardèche are only 15 minutes away, with plenty of opportunities for kayaking and hiking. Highly recommend!

We had the place to ourselves during Christmas week, so we could enjoy all the different spaces in the huge building and get plenty of rest. It was an unforgettable stay and a real haven of peace. Thanks to our hosts, we’ll be back.

Our car gave us trouble just before arrival, and the hosts did everything they could to help. They were so friendly and hospitable, and the room was fresh and very clean. They also shared great ideas for things to do nearby and recommended some good restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back if we visit the Ardèche again.

It felt like being tucked away in a cozy cocoon by the fireplace, and we felt right at home. The hosts were attentive, and breakfast was homemade, complete and perfect. A real haven of peace.

Our daughter booked us for three nights, but we enjoyed it so much we stayed seven. The hosts were lovely and made us feel at home, and they gave us excellent tips for visiting the remarkable sites. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast had everything: homemade bread from the husband, cake and yogurt from the wife, and lots of local products. From Mr. & Mrs. Griveau, from the Vendée region.
