The owners gave us a warm welcome, and the food was lovely. It’s a really well-run restaurant with superb cuisine. The young couple have a bright future in catering, and the gentleman who owns it has chosen his partner very well. Salut!

The owners are so friendly and bring things over quickly when you need them. The view is amazing, with a full panorama of the Alps and Haute-Provence, and the food uses local produce at very sharp prices. You can add everything to your bill and settle up at the end. It’s a very old building, so insulation is poor and there’s no elevator. In hot weather, it can be hard to sleep because there’s no air conditioning. Bring cash or a cheque, since they don’t take credit cards or Maestro. They don’t speak English, so some French is useful, though Spanish or Portuguese will also work. A very nice stay in a beautiful spot.

A tiny French restaurant that’s both adorable and really tasty.
