The room is roomy and has everything we needed. Breakfast is left outside the door for you to help yourself, with organic bread and croissants, which made it easy to sleep in. We were welcomed so warmly by the owners. At night, the river and frogs make a lovely sound as you drift off. It’s a peaceful, refreshing break surrounded by nature. Thank you, Chantal and Robert.

A calm spot in a lovely setting, well away from the city. We were greeted warmly, and the host had arranged little touches for our daughter and dog to make things more comfortable for them. A very peaceful place.

There isn’t much to do nearby, so you need to go to Vonnas or Bourg-en-Bresse. This works best as an overnight stop when heading south. The room is spacious and fine, though plainly furnished and decorated without much taste, and it doesn’t really feel like a mill. It’s a brief, rustic stay in an old mill, with little of the building visible beyond the water around it.
