The owner was really friendly, which made the stay feel welcoming. Still, with a required €50 cleaning charge, I expected the place to be spotless. The oven and griddle were filthy, the glass doors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages, and the grease tray and outdoor ashtray were still full. The door frames were dark gray, and just one pan was clean. There’s no bread delivery service anymore, either. A real shame, especially after a long weekend with the family.

We only meant to stop over, but the place was almost too lovely for that. The terrace was cozy, the beds comfortable, and it had everything we needed. From the outside the house looks quite unassuming, then inside you can see how much care went into furnishing it. Thumbs up! Keep it up and we’ll definitely be back next year ;-)

The hostess was very attentive, and the decor had plenty of charm. It’s a lovely house in a pleasant setting, a great find.
