The hosts made each morning special with a really good breakfast, and the place is ideally placed for exploring the Dordogne's many sights. It's right by the river in Lalinde, with a supermarket across the road and an easy stroll into town for bars, restaurants, and other amenities. Great facilities too, especially the swimming pool. We'd happily recommend it.

That pool terrace is magnificent, and the surrounding countryside is lovely. Lalinde is a great French village with plenty to see, and the accommodation sits right beside the Dordogne. The rooms are richly decorated and comfortable.

Breakfast on the terrace with the river in view was a lovely part of the stay. It's a beautiful place, and the friendly couple who own it made us feel welcome. I'd happily recommend staying here.

The hosts are lovely and the atmosphere is great. As for the location, I'd give it ten stars. I can't imagine finding a better spot in France.
