We chose La Canopée 19 as our stop on the way to Salers because there weren’t many options along the route, and it looked like the best fit. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Nadine was so welcoming and helpful, and went far beyond what we expected. We’re really grateful for the care she put into making our stay feel special. We’ve spent three years cycle touring the region, following different 10-day circular routes on quiet, beautiful roads and staying in lovely hotels and B&Bs. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and possibly anywhere. Breakfast on the terrace came with a unique view, and the stars at night were amazing. If we plan another route here, we’ll make sure it includes a stay at La Canopée 19. A great place if you value quality, style, peace and lovely views.

The breakfast was the best ever, and the view was outstanding. Everything was super clean, too. The hostess was incredibly kind, and the whole stay felt like being at home with an old friend you hadn’t seen in a while. It was just perfect, with everything you could want and more.
