Isabelle and her fiance Jean Luc made the visit fun and interesting. We were five «grown up» couples from Norway, and really enjoyed gathering in the dininghall and sittingroom over a glass of wine. The rooms were lovely, the atmosphere was warm, and breakfast was fantastic.

A grand, mansion-like place with owners who really make an effort to turn a stay into an experience. The homemade breakfast had everything, bread, marmelades, eggs. A lovely spot to unwind.

The gardens are a lovely place to sit with a refreshing drink in summer, and in winter there's the fireplace and a cup of hot tea. My family and I have returned several times since I first found Château des Ormes and its wonderful host, Isabelle, a little over a year ago. We've always been very pleased. The welcome is warm, the service is high quality, and the castle building is beautiful and unique. The homemade breakfasts are excellent.

We had a lovely time with our hosts at this wonderful find just outside Lille. The breakfast alone is worth the trip. I'll keep the address in mind for another visit to the Lille area.

The welcome was so warm, and breakfast was excellent. I spent three nights there and felt like I was living in a castle. Highly recommend it, the value for money is exceptional.
