Domaine du Mas du Taillet

Francine and Fred gave us a lovely welcome, along with all their animals. The cottage is charming and kept in perfect shape, the surroundings are beautiful, and the food was excellent. A superb place to stay in Lanarce, we highly recommend it. Cécile and David.

It’s such a good place to recharge. Even though we live in the countryside at the foot of the Luberon, the change of scenery here is complete. We love waking up to the goats, donkeys, and the other animals. Fred and Francine are lovely hosts who really care about nature, and the building feels authentic and welcoming. We first found this wonderful spot four years ago and recommend this little corner of paradise 300%! PS: To the people who leave only awful comments, stop making silly demands and enjoy the simple, authentic things. That’s what Le Taillet is for! Brice, Claire, and our little Lou.

The setting is nice, but the welcome we got was deplorable. We arrived on motorcycles in awful weather and felt as if we were intruding. We’d booked two nights, but after one night we left early because of the terrible weather and the appalling reception. The hostess, a hostess in name only, charged us the full amount in cash, saying she’s usually closed. Motorcyclists, stay away!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the meals were delicious and clearly prepared with care. We felt recharged by the calm atmosphere and the way the owners communicate with and respect the animals. The welcome was exceptional, and the owners are attentive and very sensitive. It’s hard to imagine leaving a negative review. A magical place to recharge your batteries. Thanks to Francine and Frédéric, be yourselves.
