Château la Beaumetane

The weekend was the best ever. The local area is stunning, with lovely walks, a beach visit, and a trip into the hills for the views. The Chateau is breathtaking, and the accommodation has been beautifully refurbished and decorated, with everything we needed. The food was delicious, the wine fabulous, and the hostess was lovely and attentive. Mike and Nathalie will help plan your event, whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or corporate function. It’s also very close to the airport. I feel so lucky to have visited and stayed at La Beaumetane.

The 20 en suite bedrooms are in a newly built annex right beside the main house, and they’re modern, comfortable, and finished to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Castle Beaumetane is an intimate, family-run venue for weddings and other events, set in picturesque Provence countryside a short drive from Marseille airport. Nathalie and Mike have renovated the chateau with care, keeping the old-world charm of a house of its age. The family are experienced hosts and couldn’t be more welcoming. It’s a lovely choice for a family gathering or corporate event, and well worth a visit.

We stayed one night for a wedding. There was no water in the rooms, even though it had been promised. In the heat, we couldn’t adjust the AC because it was locked to one temperature. After 10pm, there was nobody at reception to help.

The rooms are bright and airy, finished to a very high standard, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a really relaxing two-night stay at La Beaumetane. The shared kitchen was useful for keeping things in the fridge or heating something up, and the grounds are beautiful. Catering for the event was top notch, and nothing was too much trouble. I’d definitely visit again.
