Chambres d'Hôtes au Gîte de la Pommeraie

We came back relaxed and having seen more of the region. The guesthouse is beautifully calm and refined, and our hosts made us feel welcome with so much care and generosity. Breakfast was incredible. We’d love to return as soon as we can.

The heated, secure pool was a real highlight, even for the youngest children. Its first two steps are wide enough for a baby, then a toddler, to splash with an adult. The grounds are lovely and full of trees, too. I spent a long, idyllic stay here with my daughters, and we’d happily come back. Our rooms were spacious, with equally roomy bathrooms and lovely big walk-in showers. The beds were extremely comfortable, and breakfast was a treat. The place is a beautifully renovated haven surrounded by greenery. Marie-Jo and Jean-Paul welcomed us with so much warmth and generosity. Their good humor and enthusiasm did me a world of good. Thank you both again.

We brought our two children, and it was just right for relaxing and spending time together as a family. The owners are so welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. The grounds are beautiful, and our room was lovely and thoughtfully furnished. It’s also conveniently close to all the major roads. Don’t hesitate to book!

The generous, varied breakfast is worth mentioning. Our hostess makes it herself, using organic ingredients or produce from their own garden. The old building has been renovated with taste, and the couple who welcomed us were very friendly. The rooms are nicely done, with quality bedding, which really matters. For the price of a hotel, you feel like you’re being showered with chocolate.
