It lives up to what people say, really nice! Compared with the other gites we stayed in, though, this one was fairly noisy. You could hear other guests through the doors and walls.

This is a lovely stopover, peaceful but still close to shops and other activities. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and were always keen to make sure our stay went well. Sharing hearty local dishes at the communal table made for a pleasant, sociable meal.

After a day hiking in the rain, we had a really pleasant evening. Aurélie and her mother welcomed us so warmly, and the clean, well-equipped room and bathroom were comfortable. Dinner was hearty and delicious, shared with another couple of hikers and a group of cyclists. The next morning Aurélie's father served an excellent breakfast and told us about the building's history and the region. We highly recommend it.

A huge thank you for those two days! The setting felt magical, and we came away with wonderful memories. Our room was spotless, and the bathroom was fantastic. Aurélie and her parents were so kind and attentive to us that we'd love to return.
