Hôtel Restaurant Claude Darroze

After riding 83 km from Mios, I was glad to have a secure place for my bike and an easy way to charge its internal battery. The stopover package worked very well for me as a solo traveler. Dinner was lovely, and the huge shaded terrace must be especially nice in summer. My room was basic but comfortable and well equipped, with a very good bed. Breakfast from the buffet was delicious, just as the place's reputation suggests. The staff are attentive and happy to help. A very pleasant food stop on the velodysée, and good value for money.

The rooms are top quality, and the staff are incredible. Even the children get involved. What a joy. The food is haute cuisine, but you have to go and experience it to understand. Congratulations, nothing but happiness 🙏😁🙏😀❤️

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were especially kind and lovely with our baby. Looking forward to coming back for those canelés at breakfast!

We didn't eat at the restaurant, so this is only about the accommodation. The staff greeted us warmly, and the location in the center of Langon is ideal. Free shaded parking was a real plus. The room quality was a letdown, though. The decor and comfort felt dated, and the cleanliness was unacceptable. The sheets were wrinkled and stained, with hair and lint in the bed, which made us wonder if they had been changed. The towels had orange-red marks that looked like blood and black marks like makeup. The body lotion had already been opened and partly used, while the body wash was completely empty, an issue other reviews had mentioned too. We had to use hand soap and hoped it wouldn't send us to a dermatologist. There was also a lot of dust on the bedside table, phone, TV, and elsewhere. We called after dinner to ask for a different room, since no receptionist is there at night. They moved us to a higher category, but it was even worse than the first room and had the same dirt issues. A very disappointing stay despite the kind welcome and ideal location.
