There’s a bar downstairs with some excellent beers, which is a nice extra. The hotel itself is small and unpretentious, but perfectly adequate. We were welcomed very warmly and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom felt a little cramped and could do with a bit of updating.

That savory breakfast was such a treat, especially the scrambled eggs, with bacon and cheese too. I’ve now stayed here twice, in May and September 2025, and both visits were great. It’s a friendly 1-star hotel right in the city center, with a warm welcome and a clean, practical room. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Thanks again for both stays.

The room was simple and practical, with a good bed. The shower head holder was broken, so the hose was held in place with a screw. Nothing major for a hiker passing through. I loved the bar, especially its engraved wooden counter, the owner’s warm smile and lovely way of speaking, the signed and unsigned football shirts, stadium models, and posters from the local cycling race. I didn’t have time for a drink, but I’ll be back. Breakfast was fantastic: bread, homemade crepes, maybe a croissant, and tea served in a big teapot. There was plenty more I enjoyed, and I won’t list it all. The stay was wonderful and very reasonably priced. Thanks for the kind welcome, smiles, and service. Keep it just as it is.

The welcome from the owner was really warm, and breakfast was generous, with crepes, croissants, fresh bread, butter, jam, homemade salted caramel, and a choice of coffee or tea. The beds were very comfortable, and although the shower was a little old, it was clean. It’s a small, simple place that works very well for a night or two. Despite the 1-star rating, I’d give it 5 for the reception, welcome, and breakfast.
