The photos gave a better impression than the place itself. The rooms and beds were just okay, and the shower had black mold. The owner was nice, but he only speaks French, which was a bit difficult for us, and he talks nonstop. I don't understand how this B&B got five stars; even four seems hard to explain. We won't return, since there are better options.

The staff were really welcoming, and this little house worked nicely for a weekend. The heating could have been warmer.

We had a fantastic time here. The owner was so kind and attentive, and the local products at breakfast were delicious. I'd happily recommend it.

We'd booked a family room for three days in August more than six months ahead, but the owner cancelled just 48 hours before we were due to arrive. They said the previous guests had damaged the water heater. With our two children, we then had to spend a whole day of our vacation finding somewhere else to stay, and got no help from them at all.

The gîte had everything we needed, and the breakfasts were generous and clearly prepared with care. Our host was lovely and helpful, with great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. We were very happy with our two-night stay. The one drawback was how much noise came through from the neighbors.
