Maison De L'amitié

Breakfast was a highlight, plentiful, varied, and high quality. We also appreciated the unlimited hot drinks and organic toiletries. The hostess was warm and friendly, shared lots of useful information, and gave us space when we wanted it. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and nicely decorated, very close to Andernos. The air conditioning was especially welcome in the heat with our 14-month-old daughter. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

Isabelle was kind and helpful, and had great suggestions for exploring the Arcachon Basin. The cozy, pretty chalet sits in a peaceful setting. Lanton is well placed halfway between Cap Ferret and the Dune du Pilat. We had a wonderful, enjoyable stay, with nothing but good things to say.

Isabelle was kind and discreet, even clearing our table late so she wouldn't disturb us. She was always available with helpful tips on walks and restaurants, and you can make espresso, tea, or herbal tea whenever you like, with lots to choose from. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated to suit the surroundings. It's wonderfully quiet, with birds as the only sound. Breakfast was exceptional. For dinner, we planned to have oysters and wine in our room, so we asked for a corkscrew. Isabelle brought the right wine glasses, plates, and an oyster knife with a cloth to keep us from cutting ourselves, you never know! A wonderful stay. Thanks for your kindness, Isabelle, and please don't change a thing. I highly recommend it.

Finding the address was a little tricky, but call Isabelle and she'll come get you. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was generous and delicious. It's a peaceful place, with air conditioning that's a real help in very hot weather. I highly recommend staying here.
