Maison l'heure bleue

The bathroom and shower were excellent, with plenty of space, great water pressure, and a quality finish that felt like a good hotel. Our room was a good size, with a comfortable bed, enough storage for our clothes, and a little kitchen area that worked well for keeping breakfast items. Nathalie was waiting when we arrived with the key, explained everything, and shared local tips. She's very friendly and exactly the kind of host you'd hope for. We stayed in July and found the property a perfect base for the Arcachon Bay. Lanton itself is quiet at night, and its position in the middle of the bay worked well for exploring with our hire car. We didn't use the pool much because we were out so often, but the water was just the right temperature. We highly recommend Le Maison Fraiche, a fish shack nearby, for unbeatable seafood at very reasonable prices. Time it right and the sunset is incredible too. Nathalie kindly booked it for us a couple of times. We highly recommend her and the property for a great stay in the Arcachon area.
