The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful villages and countryside of Dordogne & Lot. Le Prieure sits near the Dordogne river and the charming town of Souillac, in a former priory that once welcomed pilgrims. It’s been restored beautifully as a stylish, comfortable, and carefully decorated Chambre d'hotes. Saskia & Martin are friendly, informative, and speak several languages. We had a fabulous, enchanting stay and already can’t wait to come back next year. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

Just outside Souillac, this is a peaceful, picturesque place, tucked between a quiet village and forest. We found it comfortable, and the hosts were delightful and helpful. Thanks for running it as a B&B!

There’s plenty to explore nearby, and the hosts are great. The gardens are colorful, beautiful, and well cared for. A wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.
