Le Catarina

The hosts were the standout for me, such warm, upbeat and inspiring people whose energy made the stay feel special. The room was comfortable, the breakfast had fresh local produce, and the views from the room and terrace were stunning. It’s a wonderfully quiet, relaxing place. Highly recommended.

Sleeping under the stars was the best part of our May stay at Le Catarina. The windows and skylight have blinds and nets, so the room was still comfortable for sleeping, and everything was spotless. Eloi and Dora welcomed us so warmly, and breakfast was lovely too. We only wish we’d stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back. See you soon, from Ireland and Brazil!

Parking was really convenient and made it easier to explore, and the villa is very close to the beautiful lake. Our hosts made us feel at home with their warm hospitality. The room was spotless and comfortable. We had a delightful stay at La Catarina and would gladly recommend it to anyone wanting a well-located place.

The nearby houses and some construction work during our stay were the only reasons I marked the location down a star. It didn’t bother us much, and shouldn’t put you off booking, because this B&B is a real gem. The hosts are warm and welcoming, breakfast is fantastic, with local produce and a continental spread including cheese, charcuterie and eggs alongside the sweet options. The garden is lovely, and so is the terrace view. Good restaurants are an easy eight-minute drive away, and the lake is close, with spectacular hikes a 30-40 minute drive away.
