Hôtel Le Mas de Couran

The owner’s joke left me uncomfortable and took the shine off the visit. I’d asked her for a draft beer, and the response felt unnecessary. I expect courteous, professional service. Humor should be light and shouldn’t make customers feel belittled. People come to places like this to enjoy themselves and spend their hard-earned money, so the owner should be mindful of different backgrounds and sensibilities. I think she should reconsider how she interacts with customers and treat them respectfully. There were good things too. The location has tasty food, refreshing drinks, and a swimming pool for a sunny day. Attentive security staff helped us feel safe and relaxed. The spot has potential for a pleasant lunch and some leisure time, but my interaction with the owner left a sour impression. I hope management takes the feedback on board and works toward a more respectful experience for visitors.
