The shaded spots and lovely yurts made the stay especially enjoyable. Laura, Thomas and their family have created such a warm, cosy place. I was glad I stopped here on the Camino.

The grounds and pool are beautifully cared for, and everything was clean. There’s also a new games room, a welcome addition. We stayed two nights in our motorhome, having visited years ago with a tiny tent, and the campsite has had a major overhaul since then. Thomas and Laura were lovely new owners to meet, and the welcome and service were spot on. They clearly put in a lot of work. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’re looking forward to coming back.

The quiet here is remarkable, and without light pollution the night sky is well worth seeing. This is a small family-run site tucked in the forest, with spacious, private pitches. Some have a little table and chairs for campers. Most of the staff were charming and helpful, and the toilet block and washing area were clean and practical. There’s food on site, though we didn’t try it. We did order croissants for the morning, and they were the best ever. The pool looked as if it could use a bit more chemical treatment. I’d like to think the cloudy water came from all the sun cream on the children before they jumped in. I was also surprised that plastic water bottles weren’t allowed by the pool, especially with the temperature at 34 degrees. A great find, overall.

Lauzerte’s old walled bastide is really attractive, and it’s a good area for cycling. This is a small, friendly family campsite with yurts to rent, a little pool and a bar. The facilities are new and kept very clean.

The owners were incredibly helpful, and the site was peaceful. It’s a wonderful place for cycling. The new toilet and shower block was spotless, with good washing-up facilities and a washing machine.
