We had a great time with the nighttime entertainment, and the campsite really suits people who enjoy partying. The restaurant food was tasty too, but stay away from the chicken. My wife and I both ended up in hospital for three days after we got home with a pretty bad case of salmonella. Great spot for fishing, though.

The families with babies were placed right across from the bar, which made the promised quiet stay impossible. We booked a mobile home for our two-month-old and two-year-old because the reviews seemed so good. The campsite had new owners after it was taken over in 2022, and they seemed keen on loud parties for the villagers. On Tuesday, the music and shouting into the microphone kept waking our children. I politely asked at 23:15 for the volume to come down, after they had said the music would stop at 23:00. I thanked them the next day, but that evening, possibly couscous night, there was live music followed by French reggaeton, Arabic music and 90s disco, even louder than before. At 23:00, cars from the village were still arriving to drink and party. It felt like they were making a point. At 23:40 my wife asked at the bar if they could lower the volume, and they screamed at her. The owner's husband got angry, physically intimidated her and shouted at her. They left the music as it was. We felt threatened and left with our family the next morning, even though we had paid for one more day. There was supposed to be music on the following two evenings as well. Avoid this campsite if you want a peaceful family holiday. The lake in front isn't for swimming and is covered with water plants up to the surface. Camping du Lac in Grolejac, near Domme, is a better option, with a swimming lake and a nice beach.

I only went to the lake, not the campsite. Take care around it: it's a power plant lake, so keep an eye on the water level and flow.

It was really hard to find, and there was no transport to the campsite. We had to walk 30 minutes to get there.

A good place.
