Just a short drive from Marciac, La Cordillere feels wonderfully calm, with lovely views all around. Pascale and Magili made us feel so welcome, and Magali's breakfast was a treat, especially the homemade jams. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful few days and would happily recommend it.
They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and every little detail seemed to have been taken care of with real care. The place is easy to reach and very close to Marciac. We had a truly memorable stay and will definitely come back.
The hosts are so friendly and helpful, and they speak English if you need it. The location is wonderful, and the room was comfortable with its own bathroom. Merveilleux!
We've stayed at Pascale and Magali's gîte four times now, and it's always lovely to see them again. Breakfast is so generous, with loads of homemade goodies, that you could skip lunch. The gîte is comfortable even in winter, with a cozy fireplace, and the snow-capped Pyrenees views are incredible. It's also just a stone's throw from Marciac. Their kindness and helpfulness make staying in the Cordillera region a real pleasure, and their warm, genuine welcome always makes us feel at home.
The setting has a bit of magic to it, with relaxed countryside and views of the Pyrenees to the south. Of all the places we saw while traveling in France, these were by far the most charming and welcoming accommodations. The host family were generous and made us feel so welcome. After one night, we left feeling refreshed and inspired. Magali and Pascale, thank you for the lovely welcome and for spending time with us in the garden the next morning.
