The sauna was such a nice surprise at the end of one of our days. We also loved the roomy, comfortable living spaces and how well equipped the cottage was. It’s a lovely old stone and wood place, and a great base for the Jura, with walking paths, hikes, and other attractions nearby. Véronique and Gilles made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. I’m already hoping to come back with my family in the warmer months and enjoy the garden.
The owners have thought of so many little things that make a week here easy. There were basic cooking supplies and household essentials, plus plenty of tourist information and books about the Jura. Gîte Le Douglas was spotless and well equipped, and Véronique and Gilles welcomed us warmly. We had a wonderful week and would happily recommend it.
The village is quiet and peaceful, and made a great starting point for seeing the region's attractions. We had covered parking for all three of our motorcycles, which was very handy. The gîte is comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with everything well equipped and a sauna that was a real bonus. Véronique and Gilles were so kind and welcoming that we felt at home straight away. Thanks again to you both.
We had a great time here with friends. The bedrooms have plenty of space and are comfortable, and the living room and kitchen feel just as roomy. The cottage is nicely furnished and has everything we needed. Outside, there’s a good spot for a game of pétanque. Highly recommend it for a friends’ stay.
The setting is beautiful, among vineyards on the Seille hillsides, and the house and garden are superb. We felt at home very quickly in this fully wooded cottage. The sauna was a lovely extra, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Thank you for the warm welcome!
