The welcome was very warm, and the accommodation was in a great location with a lovely terrace. But the strong odor, almost unbearable and coming from the lake, was a major drawback. There was only one blanket for two beds, and it smelled of urine. 🤮
The lake and Corbières mountains look lovely from here, and the marina is right beside the building, which is handy if you have a boat. The apartment was laid out well, and the residence has recently been renovated. There are plenty of nice places to explore around the area. The beach is a 3-minute drive or about a 25-minute walk. Outside peak season, though, very few nearby shops are open: just two restaurants and a small supermarket that also has a bakery. The building has both tenants and owners.
The housekeeping was good, and the lake view made the room feel really nice. Room sizes vary depending on what you ask for. It's really very good.
There are quite a few different apartments, with lovely sunrise views over the lake. A bakery and shop are close by, and you can also go jet skiing with a guide.
We had a great view of the pond from the terrace, and the studio was very clean. The location was fantastic. It was a shame to be there out of season, with no activities and many restaurants closed.
