We only stayed two nights, which I regret, and we'll definitely return. The owners were welcoming and easy to communicate with. Our spacious room was clean and quiet, with a stunning view from the window. This was by far the best guest house we've stayed in in Provence.

We slept incredibly well in the enormous, comfortable bed, and woke to stunning views, a good breakfast, and lovely hospitality from the owner. This newly opened hotel has been lovingly refurbished, and the photos show it well. It's in a gorgeous hilltop village in Provence that doesn't feel touristy like Gourdes. We stayed just one night.

Damien and Celia are exceptionally kind and attentive hosts who go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Their B&B was the best we've ever experienced, thanks especially to them, the facilities, and its location in the wine area of the lower Rhone River valley. We stayed six nights in April, 2024, and loved the quiet, spacious bedrooms, beautiful modern design, and countryside and vineyard views from every room. The photos on the website are accurate. The ancient three-story building in hilltop Le Barroux has been completely renovated, with four well-separated bedrooms reached by a modern central stairwell. There's a new patio for breakfast and drinks, and Damien was finishing a swimming pool with a deck and refreshment area during our stay. Breakfast each morning was perfect: fresh bread, croissants and other pastries from a nearby bakery, homemade yogurt, local strawberries, and eggs and coffee prepared as you like. Free parking is in a safe lot about 50 yards down the street. Le Barroux is a carefully maintained old town with narrow streets, a hilltop castle, friendly residents, and no litter. The young hosts live next door in a similarly renovated attached old building. It's a great base for the nearby AOC villages of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Baumes-de-Venise, Seguret, and many others. Vaison-la-Romaine is also worth visiting for its medieval town and ancient Roman ruins. We give it our highest rating and especially recommend it to couples looking for a quiet, child and pet free base to explore this beautiful part of France.

The hosts were brilliant and attentive with drinks, and all the food was super fresh. The rooms are really high spec. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Perfect!
