Dinner was the highlight for me each day, from the fresh garden vegetables in the perfectly cooked entrees to the homemade bread, jams, and yogurt at breakfast. Myriam and Piet were such warm, accommodating hosts, always ready to help us plan outings or handle anything I asked for. Leaving felt like saying goodbye to family. I came to France for the first time hoping to get away from the daily grind, and LeTemps Serein made it easy to relax. The property is incredibly peaceful and feels like home as soon as you step inside. There's plenty to enjoy without leaving, like walking down to the creek, stargazing, visiting the gardens, napping in a hammock, and playing with their wonderful dog Titus. Trips to the nearby villages were a lovely bonus. I'd love to come back.

We spent six nights at Le Temps Serein and really enjoyed it. The meal option was tasty and great value, especially if you don't feel like cooking. The house has loads of character, is furnished to a high standard, and comes with plenty of information about things to do in this fascinating area. Miriam and Piet were very friendly and incredibly helpful hosts.

We only had one night here and wished we could've stayed longer. It's such a peaceful place away from all the bustle, and we're sure to return. Miriam & Piet made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful dinner, lovely wine, and superb chocolate for dessert. Piet used to be a chocolatier in Belgium. There are lots of interesting tourist sites nearby, so I'd recommend it to friends and family❣️

I've visited Le Temps Serein three times now, and each stay with Piet and Myriam has been something I look forward to. Their welcome is warm, and they do everything they can to make a visit enjoyable and memorable. I wish I could give it six stars. Dinner is one of the best reasons to stay. Piet plans the menu around what's in season from his extensive garden, and he's an excellent cook who studied in Brussels. The food and wine are superb, but the conversation and good company are even better. The farmhouse is a tastefully renovated 18th century home in the little village of Vabre-Tizac, which my Garmin GPS labels as "Vabre." Its garden has flowers and vegetables, and the grounds are lovely for a walk, with a stream, horses, chickens whose farm-fresh eggs are worth tasting, ducks, cats, and their ridiculously delightful Australian Shepard, Titus. Le Temps Serein is also a great base for exploring Aveyron, with its medieval villages, restored castles, and many other places to see. Even a week or two wouldn't cover everything. Conques, St. Cirque LaPopie, Najac, Belcastel, Bournazel, Peyrousse le Roc, and plenty more are nearby, and Piet and Myriam are happy to suggest where to go. I can't wait for my next visit.

I spent two weeks at Le Temps Serein, and it was such a peaceful place to stay in the Aveyron hills. The garden has lovely views and lots of spots to sit with tea or coffee. Piet and Myriam are welcoming and friendly, and I always felt comfortable as a guest. They're also full of local tips. We visited several markets and went hiking in some beautiful scenery. The rooms have been newly renovated while keeping their authentic French style. Piet is a great cook and uses mostly vegetables from their garden. Outside, there are cats and a dog to cuddle, plus horses and chickens that add to the peaceful feel. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area. Thanks, Piet and Myriam. See you again!
