Mas du Sommelier 'hotel et gites' has a superb four-bedroom house with a pool in lovely natural surroundings. The proprietors are wonderful, friendly, and helpful, and there’s plenty of space to eat and drink in the garden. Le Beaucet itself is a beautiful little village. Walking down from the chateau ruin at the top, with its amazing views, is a must. There’s a very pretty little bar too, though I think it only stays open until early afternoon.

The smaller gite has quite a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind. The place is charming, with lovely little terraces outside and a real sense of privacy wherever you are. Every detail feels just right.

A gorgeous wine collection, lovely hosts, and plenty of spots to relax. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere wonderful.

We really appreciated that Julia had turned on the heat a few days before we arrived, since old buildings can be quite cold in February. Our week at Mas du Sommelier was excellent, and we’ll definitely return. The house is beautifully furnished and very well looked after, inside and out, and sits in a lovely natural garden on a quiet side road with little traffic. Julia and Pier were friendly, discreet, and helpful, with great tips for shopping and dining. We enjoyed walking our two dogs straight from the house through the Provençal countryside. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Venasque, and Gordes are all a short drive away. This place deserves the maximum number of stars.

A real treat for anyone who loves good food and a peaceful setting, with plenty to explore too. The hosts are sommeliers and gourmets, and that shows in their outstanding wine cellar and the excellent regional products served from breakfast through dinner. The two holiday apartments are spacious, fully equipped, cozy, and stylish, all in a Provençal style. The pool area is beautiful and always well maintained, just like the rest of the property, and the garden is a delight. Wi-Fi works throughout. Mas du Sommelier in Le Beaucet was a dream of a holiday, and we’d be happy to return.
