Ecogite le Cerf Thibault en Brenne

We chose the Cyclamen room because my wife has mobility problems, and it worked out lovely. The huge shower room has an amazing shower, great fittings, and thoughtful details like wooden soap dishes and toiletries. The setting is incredible, and we stayed two nights in this delightful chambres d'hotes. Breakfast was lovely, with homemade fig confiture and yoghurt, plus strawberries from the garden. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and patient with guests still finding their way around French. One evening, the owner even made a barbecue for everyone. Really worthwhile.

The hosts were warm and helpful, and I enjoyed staying in such a beautiful place with real character. Breakfast included homemade products, which was a nice extra. Thank you. I'd recommend it.

I was welcomed warmly and had an excellent dinner in a nice, relaxing atmosphere. As a solo traveler, I highly recommend it.

The grounds were beautiful, with a playful dog and ponies, and the sunshine meant we could enjoy the swing and pool. We had a superb weekend beside the Creuse River. Our spacious room for three had a spotless bathroom, and breakfast on the terrace was generous, served with smiles and kind attention from the hosts. Their very warm welcome made us feel almost at home.
