The location is lovely and the room was wonderful, but it wasn't the room we paid for. We were sold a garden-view room, then told on arrival that none of the rooms have garden views. Our terrace looked straight at a high plastered wall, with the car park behind it and people's heads peeking over. We also paid €80 more by booking through booking.com instead of directly, and were charged €12 per day for our dog, which we thought was included. The staff refunded part of the difference and admitted we'd been mis-sold, but the same thing is still happening to other booking.com guests. After the hotel's response: there was nothing about a dog charge on booking.com or in the email, which I checked. After I asked about check-in and mentioned our dog, the email said, “Your special request has been accepted, there will be no charge for this request”. It also said the dog couldn't go in the main hotel or pool area. That's all. Please include this cost on the booking.com form and be more transparent with guests, including about room differences. Your staff told me there was no difference. It's a shame because the staff and room were lovely, but I feel lied to.

The heated pool was heavenly, and the beach was just a very short walk away. My room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and a glorious shower, and the food was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything about my stay deserved five stars. I'll definitely come back and stay longer!

A truly relaxing weekend, and a hotel and restaurant worth the trip. The welcome, breakfast and everything else felt perfect. Dinner was delicious, breakfast had an amazing range, and the spa gave us a real chance to unwind. Our room was lovely and clean, with comfortable bedding. The friendly staff made this a special surprise for my partner, and we appreciated their kindness and helpful advice. We recommend it 1000%!

We found a peaceful spot at this time of year and had a restorative, relaxing weekend. We always enjoy coming back to this hotel and restaurant: we love the welcome, location, rooms, spa and restaurant. We'll return again.

The staff were pleasant, and there was lots of variety at breakfast. On arrival we were told we'd been upgraded, thankfully. The shower head was covered in limescale, though, and both the curtain rod and curtain were rusty.
