It’s a cheap place to stay, and fine if that’s what you expect. But there’s no nearby parking, and it wouldn’t suit anyone with even a slight disability. No soap in the shower, no kettle, and no way to get a drink. Breakfast cost an extra 7€ and was barely worth it.

The staff were amazing. After I lost my phone while cycling through the region, they helped let my relatives know I was okay and would be out of contact for a while. They also found a way to store my bike overnight, got me into a lovely room on the spot, and helped me recover my phone the next day. Great atmosphere, decent prices and service that went above and beyond. I’d definitely recommend Hotel Le Richlieu if you pass through Le Boulou.

The bartender who checked us in was adorable and really accommodating. He shared a few local recommendations, and we got to try them out. Our room was very spacious, with a nice big bathroom 😊

The bathroom was a good size, with a big shower, and the beds were super comfortable. There was air conditioning too. The staff were really friendly, and I’d come back.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location is right in the center. They were very helpful about storing our bicycles. When we asked, the owner quickly dealt with another guest’s TV being excessively loud.
