Every room has its own theme, and breakfast was delicious. The decor has a magical, chic, Zen feel, and the residence itself is full of old-world charm. Thanks for a lovely short break. We’ll come back for longer next time. Lots of hugs to the beautiful, adorable Sapho.

The welcome was excellent, and the stay felt peaceful while still giving you a sense of travel. The artist-owner has created a place with real character and charm. We’ll definitely be back!

We come back here regularly for a relaxing weekend, and Marie-Odile and Marc always make us feel very welcome. They go out of their way to make sure guests have a great stay, just like their feline companions do. The place is peaceful and nicely decorated, with some of its resident cats given pride of place. The beach is only a 15-minute walk away, along a lovely little path through the fields.

The food and breakfast were original and gourmet, just as we hoped. But Marie-Odile’s decor is what makes these guest rooms stand out. She’s the hostess and a painter, and the house feels like a museum of Rococo charm, wrapping you in a poetic cocoon. Marie-Odile and her partner Marc-André take such good care of you that it soon feels like a weekend with friends. We wanted to get off the beaten track and leave Normandy’s familiar golden triangle of Deauville, Trouville, and Honfleur, heading farther north to discover Dieppe. We didn’t end up seeing Dieppe, and it was much better that way. For somewhere to stay, we found a charming residence in an Anglo-Norman manor and booked two nights without hesitation. We chose dinner and breakfast, and the whole place brought together art, food, and hospitality for an enchanting break. We highly recommend "Le chat chez qui j'habite."
