Villa Marguerite

We had such a nice two-night stay with Florence and Caroline. They were lovely hosts and did more than expected to make us comfortable, so we'd happily return if we're in the area again. We also had dinner at their restaurant, where Chef Florence cooked an exceptional meal.

My family of four arrived by bike as part of a loop around the area, and we loved our time here. Cadouin is a peaceful, lovely little village, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful. The owner is also the chef, and the food was amazing, as good as or better than meals we've had in Paris and at home in the San Francisco Bay Area, where we care a lot about good food. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Cadouin made a delightful base for visiting the charming towns south of the Dordogne River, and the Villa was among the area's great restaurants. Caroline was wonderfully hospitable, and Florence is an amazing chef. Our room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Breakfast on the inviting terrace was a real treat, and it would be lovely to return in cooler weather to dine in the beautiful indoor dining room. This was our favorite stay in Dordogne, and we had a very pleasant visit.

The garden behind Villa Marguerite, which our room looked onto, was a lovely sight to wake up to. Caroline and Florence made us feel like guests in their own home, and the B&B is furnished and styled beautifully. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast brought fresh fruit, pastries, and cereals, a great start to the day. We also had a beautiful three-course dinner cooked by Florence, a very talented chef. We're already planning another visit because we can't wait to return.
