Château Saint-Roux Le Luc- Le Cannet des Maures

Max was a fantastic, engaging host and did a great job leading the tour in English. Of the seven châteaus I visited in France, the wine here was my favorite, especially the rosé. The bread and cheeses at the tasting were delicious, too. I only spent an afternoon here on a group tour and wine tasting, not the night, but the place is spectacularly beautiful and peaceful. Everyone was kind and welcoming. I was so charmed by it that I felt sad when we had to board the bus and leave. There’s a sweet little cat who clearly gets lots of love and care, and I liked the merchandise available as souvenirs. If I’m lucky enough to get back to the south of France, I’d love to return and stay overnight.

We had such a good time at this Chateau and would happily come back many times. The baking workshop was a highlight, and the chef was lovely. He said he didn’t speak much English, but tried his best and was great. The room was spotless and stylish, with cute cups, good quality furniture, and a breathtaking view. They provided Nespresso coffee, cream, and tea. Breakfast was delicious in a warm, welcoming, charming room, and every corner felt Pinterest perfect. We also loved the Vinyards, the animal farm, and the boutique with its tasty cheeses and wines.

We only came for dinner, but seeing the place made us want to come back and stay overnight. The atmosphere is amazing, and the Chateau is unbelievably beautiful. The property is so well kept by all the people working hard on it. The restaurant food was really good, with fresh produce that you can taste in the meals. Our waiter was thoughtful, spoke good English, and went above and beyond. And the desserts! I had to choose just one, though I would have taken them all. They have their own boulangerie and patisserie, so we’ll have to return and try a different pastry each day. Dinner with a view and a full heart.

The restaurant was a real highlight, with incredible flavors from freshly grown produce. Our room was gorgeous, the château is beautiful, and all the staff were fantastic. Gregory and the whole team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the start. We had a wonderful stay at Château Saint Roux and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend staying here.
