The peaceful setting and the valley view were lovely, and we made good use of the kitchen amenities. Our host was wonderful too. We'd happily stay here again.

The pool and its view over the surrounding countryside made for a really relaxing stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a sea-inspired design, a private terrace facing the pool, and a handy little kitchenette. We enjoyed local market treats out there using the plates and cutlery provided. Even the bathroom window looked out over beautiful countryside. Our hosts were so warm, and they left orange juice and water in the fridge for us every day, a really thoughtful touch. The location also made it easy to explore: Sanary sur mer and kayaking in the calanques in Cassis were both under a 30 minute drive away. We loved our time at Le Cigale sous l'Olivier and will come back when we're in the area.

Everyone was kind and attentive throughout, from the booking right through to the end of our stay. They were discreet, but always there when we needed something, and there were thoughtful touches along the way. You can tell these people really care about what they do.
