The courtyard has shared tables and chairs, a nice spot to sit outside. We’ve stayed here a couple of times because the location works well, close to the motorway, and the village has bars and restaurants. The rooms are on the small, cozy side, but they’re spotless, well equipped, and just right for an overnight stop. There’s private parking a few metres from the room.

We stayed with Aurore and Vincent at Barry du Grand Chemin again on the way to Spain, and this time was even better. They served a lovely three-course dinner, so we didn’t have to find somewhere else open in town. Looking forward to stopping again on the way back to the UK. The room is comfortable and clean, with an en suite, and dogs are welcome. There’s off-road parking, and breakfast includes delicious homemade yoghurt and granola bars. It’s a gem just off the A75. LeCaylar is a lovely little town too, with a good Sicilian restaurant and a local Patisserie worth visiting.

We only stayed one night while heading back through France from Italy, and wished we could have stayed longer. This is such a quaint Chambres d''hotes, run by lovely people, with their two young daughters and sweet little dog helping out. Dinner was excellent, and so was the wine. Breakfast in the vaulted cellar was just as good. We’d happily recommend a longer stay.

Dinner was a highlight: the owners cooked an amazing meal in a 17th century converted farmhouse, shared with the other guests. They welcomed me like family, and it made for a memorable evening. The property itself was beautiful and everything felt perfect. I’ve stayed in places around the world, but the owners’ charm and hospitality put this one right at the top of my list. If you’re visiting this part of France, be sure to stay here.

The owners are really friendly, and the homemade jam at breakfast was excellent. It’s a lovely B&B in a beautiful area, with a good bedroom. Until next time. 5⭐️
