We wanted somewhere quiet to enjoy the region, away from the big hotel chains, and this was just right. The staff live on site, but were generally discreet and respectful while still being helpful. Our spacious, comfortable room was the one where dogs are allowed. I liked that only one room is pet-friendly, so there aren’t too many dogs around. The food was very good too: breakfast was simple and good quality, and the half-board meal was delicious. There were other dishes on the menu as well if you had something specific in mind.

We haven't eaten this well in ages. The food was exquisite, and finding a place like this feels rare. The hosts made the evening wonderful. We'll be back!

The music playing in the background was terrible, and the meal was a real letdown for the price. I asked for my steak medium rare, but it came out very well done. It was so overcooked, chewy, and inedible.
